Thank you for visiting my personal website. My name is Brannon Oiler and I am a software developer based in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a BS in Computer Science (2018), I have spent the past several years building skills in full stack application development, with a focus in React Native/Expo front ends and AWS/Express backends written primarily in TypeScript.

I have had the opportunity to lead projects through the entire SDLC, from planning and design all the way to long-term maintenance. I am especially interested in the social dynamics of development and have gained a lot of experience through the countless projects I have worked on.

I am also very passionate about the jazz bands I am a part of. I currently play lead alto and tenor saxophone in the Arch City Big Band and the Emerald City Swing Orchestra. I have also had the privilege to play alongside other wonderful groups such as the NACHO Street Band and the Dublin Wind Symphony.
